Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Purpose of the Role
- Manage service, maintenance, repair and lifecycle support activities for crushing and screening equipment across South India.
- Ensure equipment reliability, availability and customer satisfaction through timely technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair activities at customer sites.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify technical issues and failures.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Coordinate with customers, dealers, service teams and internal engineering teams.
- Prepare service and inspection reports and track corrective actions.
- Monitor breakdowns, preventive maintenance and equipment performance.
- Support spare parts identification and service-related requirements.
- Ensure all service activities comply with safety and quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, rebuilds, service contracts and other LCS solutions.
- Travel extensively across South India based on customer and business requirements.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of crushing and screening equipment / heavy machinery.
- Robust mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Good customer handling and communication skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and equipment manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in crushers, screens, conveyors, mining or construction equipment.
- Experience in field service, maintenance, commissioning or aftermarket services.
