About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Laundry Attendant to manage the complete laundry and garment-care requirements of a private residence. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of washing, drying, ironing, steaming, folding, and proper storage of different types of fabrics and garments.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle the complete laundry requirements of the private residence.

- Sort clothes, linens, towels, uniforms, and other household fabrics according to colour, fabric type, and washing requirements.

- Operate washing machines, dryers, steamers, irons, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.

- Use appropriate detergents, fabric softeners, stain removers, and other laundry products.

- Treat and remove stains carefully without damaging garments.

- Handle delicate, expensive, and branded clothing with appropriate care.

- Iron and steam garments according to fabric and garment requirements.

- Fold and organize clothes, bed linen, towels, and other household items neatly.

- Ensure clothes and linens are returned to their designated places after laundry.

- Maintain proper inventory of household linen, towels, and other laundry items.

- Identify damaged garments or linens and report them to the supervisor or family representative.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.





- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of laundry equipment.

- Avoid fabric damage, colour bleeding, shrinkage, and improper handling of garments.

- Coordinate with housekeeping staff regarding laundry requirements and schedules.

- Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding the family and private residence.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Laundry Attendant, Laundry Staff, or similar role.

- Previous experience in a private residence, luxury hotel, high-end household, or premium hospitality environment is preferred.

- Good knowledge of different fabrics and garment-care methods.

- Experience handling delicate, designer, and premium garments.

- Knowledge of washing, dry cleaning, ironing, steaming, stain removal, and fabric care.

- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Physically fit and able to handle laundry-related tasks efficiently.

- Honest, reliable, disciplined, and trustworthy.

- Valuable personal hygiene and professional appearance.

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully.

- Willingness to work flexible hours based on the family's requirements.

Pay: ₹28,757.57 - ₹30,878.32 per month
