Role Overview

- We are looking for a Laravel Developer to review, improve and rebuild an existing web and application platform.
- The ideal candidate should be a solid problem solver with good technical judgment, capable of understanding an existing system, identifying weaknesses, improving platform quality, and building a more secure, scalable and reliable product.

Key Responsibilities

- Review the existing platform, architecture and code quality.
- Identify technical issues, performance gaps and areas requiring redevelopment.
- Rebuild and improve the platform using Laravel and modern development practices.
- Develop and maintain backend systems, APIs and integrations for web and mobile applications.
- Improve platform security, performance, scalability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.
- Maintain strong coding, testing and deployment standards.
- Take ownership of features from analysis through development and release.





Required Skills

- Strong experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Experience with web applications, REST APIs and mobile app.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of React, Vue.js or similar frontend technologies.
- Experience working with existing or legacy platforms.
- Strong debugging, architecture and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Git, cloud environments and deployment workflows.

Ideal Candidate

- We are looking for someone who can think beyond development tickets, challenge weak technical approaches, independently solve problems, and take ownership of the overall quality and stability of the platform.
- Experience rebuilding or modernising an existing SaaS, e-commerce, healthcare or transactional platform would be highly preferred.
