Job Title: Lab Technician Company: Karunya Sugalaya Diabetes and Research Centre Location: KUMBAKONAM Reporting To: Head of Department (HOD) Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and responsible Lab Technician to perform routine laboratory tests, sample collection, processing, and maintain accurate patient records while following quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect and process blood and other patient samples.

- Perform routine laboratory investigations as per protocols.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and disposal of samples.
- Maintain accurate test reports and laboratory records.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and quality procedures.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the laboratory.





Qualification

- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology / B.Sc.

Medical Laboratory

Technology - Valid registration/certification where applicable.

Experience

- 0–3 years of experience in a hospital/diagnostic laboratory.
- Freshers with relevant qualification may also be considered.

Skills

- Valuable knowledge of laboratory procedures.
- Sample collection and handling.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
