Position: Lab Instructor – Medical Laboratory Science

Department: Medical Laboratory Science (MLS)

Location: Mohali, Punjab

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct and assist in practical laboratory sessions for MLS students.
- Demonstrate laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment handling.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, reagents, and supplies.
- Ensure proper implementation of laboratory protocols and safety procedures.
- Supervise students during practical sessions and provide technical guidance.
- Maintain laboratory records, inventory, and documentation.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper functioning of the laboratory.
- Assist faculty members in conducting practical examinations and assessments.
- Monitor the availability and proper storage of chemicals, reagents, and other laboratory materials.
- Follow institutional policies and applicable laboratory safety standards.




- Support academic and departmental activities as assigned by the department.

Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Medical Laboratory Science (MLS), or a relevant discipline.
- Relevant skilled certification, where applicable, will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in a medical/diagnostic laboratory or academic institution.
- Freshers with strong practical knowledge may also be considered.

Key Skills
- Good practical knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control practices.
- Good communication and student-handling skills.
- Ability to maintain laboratory records and inventory.
- Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
