Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Management

- Prepare laboratories for practical classes, experiments, workshops, and project activities.

- Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.

- Ensure laboratories are organized, protected, and fully functional at all times.

- Maintain inventories of laboratory equipment, tools, consumables, and spare parts.

- Coordinate procurement and maintenance activities for laboratory resources.

Academic Support

- Assist faculty members in conducting laboratory classes and demonstrations.

- Guide students in performing experiments and operating equipment safely.

- Support student projects, capstone projects, and research activities.

- Assist in developing laboratory manuals, experiment procedures, and instructional materials.

- Evaluate laboratory records, reports, and practical assessments as assigned.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations and university policies.

- Conduct safety briefings and ensure proper use of safety equipment.

- Maintain records related to equipment servicing, laboratory usage, and safety audits.

- Report equipment malfunctions and recommend corrective actions.

Research & Development Support

- Assist faculty and research scholars in conducting experimental research.





- Support sponsored projects, consultancy assignments, and industry collaborations.

- Facilitate laboratory testing, data collection, and documentation activities.

Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain laboratory documentation and records.

- Support accreditation activities such as NBA, NAAC, and other quality initiatives.

- Assist in organizing workshops, technical events, training programs, and laboratory demonstrations.

Petroleum Engineering

- Knowledge of: Drilling Engineering Laboratories

- Reservoir Engineering Equipment

- Well Logging and Production Systems

- Petroleum Testing and Analysis Equipment

- Fluid Characterization and Core Analysis

- HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Standards

Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

- Knowledge of: Electrical Machines Laboratory

- Power Systems Laboratory

- Power Electronics Laboratory

- Control Systems Laboratory

- Electrical Measurements and Instrumentation

- PLC, SCADA, and Industrial Automation Systems

- Renewable Energy Laboratory Equipment
