Employment Type: Full-Time

1. Job Purpose

To support day-to-day laboratory activities, testing, sample preparation, equipment handling, documentation, and maintenance of laboratory standards while ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and as per defined procedures.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Collect, receive, label, and maintain samples received from Production, Quality, R&D;, and other departments.
- Assist in preparation of samples for laboratory testing and analysis.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests as per approved SOPs and test methods.
- Operate laboratory equipment and instruments after receiving proper training.
- Record test results accurately in laboratory registers, formats, or approved software.
- Maintain proper identification and traceability of samples.
- Assist Lab In-Charge/Quality/R&D; team in testing of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and development samples.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, tools, and work areas in clean and usable condition.
- Support calibration and preventive maintenance activities of laboratory instruments.
- Inform the concerned person immediately in case of abnormal test results, equipment malfunction, sample damage, or safety concerns.
- Maintain laboratory chemicals, consumables, and other materials as per defined requirements.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of chemicals and laboratory materials.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures, PPE requirements, chemical handling procedures, and emergency protocols.




- Assist in preparation and maintenance of laboratory records, checklists, logbooks, and reports.
- Support internal/external audits and provide required laboratory records.
- Ensure proper disposal of laboratory waste as per company/environmental procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards within the laboratory.
- Perform any other laboratory-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.

1. Quality & Compliance Responsibilities

- Follow approved SOPs, Work Instructions, and test methods.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of laboratory data and records.
- Do not alter or manipulate test results.
- Maintain confidentiality of test results, product information, and R&D-related; information.
- Follow applicable Quality, EHS, ISO, and company requirements.
- Immediately report any non-conformance or deviation to the concerned authority.

1. Safety Responsibilities

- Always use required PPE while working in the laboratory.
- Handle chemicals, samples, and laboratory equipment safely.
- Follow chemical labeling and storage requirements.
- Maintain awareness of emergency exits, fire extinguishers, first-aid facilities, and emergency procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions, spills, incidents, and near misses immediately.
- Participate in safety training, mock drills,



and other EHS activities.

1. Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of laboratory practices and testing procedures.
- Basic understanding of measurements and calculations.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and MS Word.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow SOPs and instructions.
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety and chemical handling.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new testing methods and equipment.

1. Educational Qualification

Preferred: ITI / Diploma / B.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical, Mechanical, or a relevant technical/science discipline.

Experience:

- Freshers may be considered.
- 0–2 years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, Quality, R&D;, or testing environment will be an advantage.

9 Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
