Job Overview: We are looking for an L1 Azure Cloud Monitoring Engineer who will be responsible for monitoring Azure environments and applications, handling alerts, performing initial troubleshooting, and escalating issues to the appropriate teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in IT Monitoring, Cloud Monitoring, Application Support, or Production Support.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud concepts.
- Hands-on experience or good understanding of:
- Azure Monitor
- Application Insights
- Log Analytics
- Azure Portal
- Azure Alerts Dashboards
- Azure Resource Health
- Azure VMs App Services
- Basic understanding of Azure Storage and Networking.
- Valuable knowledge of Windows/Linux fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Ability to analyze application/infrastructure logs and perform L1 troubleshooting.
- Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools and incident management.
- Understanding of SLA, incident priority, escalation, and ticket lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with US-based customers/stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in US Business Hours from the Ahmedabad office.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Azure certification such as AZ-900 / AZ-104.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Basic exposure to PowerShell, Azure CLI, or scripting.
- Experience supporting production cloud environments.
