Key Responsibilities

Manage purchase, stores and kitchen requirements of the College and Hostel.

Procure groceries, vegetables, provisions, kitchen consumables and other approved materials.

Coordinate with vendors, obtain quotations and ensure timely delivery.

Receive, inspect and properly store materials.

Maintain purchase, stock, issue and inventory records.

Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, consumption and wastage.

Coordinate with the Chef/Kitchen team for daily requirements.

Ensure quality, hygiene, proper storage and cost-effective utilization of materials.

Conduct regular stock verification and report discrepancies.

Coordinate with Accounts and Administration for purchase bills and documentation.

Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Qualification

Any Degree/Diploma in Purchase,



Stores, Hospitality, Hotel Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Stores, Inventory or Kitchen Operations, preferably in a college, hostel, hotel, catering or institutional kitchen.

Skills

Valuable knowledge of procurement, inventory management, vendor coordination, MS Excel, documentation and cost control.
