We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Kitchen Helper to assist the Chef and kitchen team with daily food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
- Wash, clean, peel, and cut vegetables and other ingredients.
- Assist in preparing basic kitchen items as instructed.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Clean kitchen utensils, vessels, work surfaces, and equipment.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies.
- Keep ingredients and kitchen items properly arranged.
- Help with dishwashing and maintaining a clean kitchen area.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Support the kitchen team during busy restaurant hours.
- Minimize food wastage and use ingredients responsibly.
- Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef or management.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or hotel experience is preferred but freshers can also apply.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Hardworking, punctual, and responsible.
- Willingness to learn cooking and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work versatile shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Salary: Negotiable based on experience and skills.
