Key Account Manager (KAM)

As a Key Account Manager, you will manage and grow our clientele most strategic client relationships, acting as the central point of contact to ensure exceptional service, identify new business opportunities, and achieve sales targets by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that drive client retention and profitability".

Key Core Responsibilities

- Relationship Management: Act as the central contact for key clients, building trust, and ensuring high retention through proactive engagement.

- Business Development: Identify upselling, cross-selling, and expansion opportunities to increase volume, revenue, and profitability.

- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute tailored strategic plans to meet client goals and align with the company policies to provide logistics advice.

- Operational Coordination: Work with internal operations, warehousing, and transportation teams to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve bottlenecks.

- Performance Analysis:



Conduct Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR) using KPIs (volume, GP, transit time) to evaluate performance and propose improvements.

- Contract Negotiation: Manage contract renewals, pricing, and service agreements.

Key Requirements & Skills

- Experience: Generally, 6-8 yrs years in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.

- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of international transport, customs, and supply chain logistics.

- Commercial Acumen: Robust negotiation, sales, and analytical skills.

- Communication: Excellent relationship-building and presentation skills.

- Systems: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and cargo management systems.

Performance Metrics

- Account profitability and revenue growth.

- Client retention rates and customer satisfaction scores.

- Volume growth and market share expansion.
