Role Description The Kerala Operations Lead, India is a full-time hybrid role based in Thiruvananthapuram, with a blend of on-site responsibilities and some work-from-home flexibility. This role oversees day-to-day operational coordination between UK-based shippers, haulage partners, and the Indian support team, ensuring accurate booking, scheduling, and documentation for all movements.

The Kerala Operations

Lead monitors capacity and lane performance, manages exception handling and issue resolution, and maintains high data quality in internal systems and customer-facing platforms. The role involves close collaboration with UK operations, supervising local team workflows,



supporting carrier onboarding and compliance checks, and driving process improvements. The position also includes preparing operational reports, supporting rate and margin analysis, and promoting a culture of transparency, safety, and service reliability.

Qualifications

- Experience in transport, logistics operations, or supply chain coordination, preferably involving UK or international freight.
- Robust skills in operations management, scheduling, and workflow optimization to oversee daily movements and team activities.
- Proficiency with digital tools and platforms for data entry, reporting, and communication; comfort working in asset-light and intermediary models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for clear coordination with UK stakeholders and local partners.
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify capacity or performance issues, and implement practical process improvements.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team supervision, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a structured approach to documentation and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, operations management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to manage on-site responsibilities in Thiruvananthapuram and remote tasks effectively.
