At Lighthouse Communities Foundation, we're looking for a Junior Visual Designer to join our Communications team and help bring the stories of our work with underserved youth to life — from social posts to campaign assets to event backdrops.

About the Role

As Junior Visual Designer, you'll work closely with the Communications team to turn briefs into explicit, engaging, on-brand visual communication — spanning both digital and print, giving you the chance to build a diverse portfolio on real campaigns and organizational initiatives.

What You'll Create

- Digital: Social media creatives, banners, and campaign assets across platforms and formats, consistent with Lighthouse's visual identity
- Print & Events: Posters, standees, backdrops, invitations, certificates, signage, and stage branding — taking concepts from idea to production-ready asset
- Concept to Execution: Translate creative briefs and stories into simple, engaging visual narratives, exploring multiple directions and incorporating feedback while working within brand guidelines
- Collaboration & Delivery: Work with internal teams to understand communication needs, coordinate with printers and production partners, manage timelines, and keep design files organized

What We're Looking For

- Graduate preferred; 0–2 years of experience in graphic,



visual, or communication design — fresh graduates with a strong portfolio encouraged to apply
- Practical working experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva (non-negotiable — your portfolio must demonstrate this)
- Good to have: Adobe InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, basic motion graphics, short-form video, or AI-powered design tools
- Strong understanding of typography, colour, composition, layout, visual hierarchy, and both digital and print design
- Strong proficiency in English, plus at least one of Hindi, Marathi, Odia, or Telugu
- Curious about why a design works, comfortable taking feedback as part of the creative process, and able to balance creativity with deadlines and brand guidelines
