Junior Video Editor & Graphic Designer — Remote Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor & Graphic Designer to produce engaging video and visual content for social media and other digital platforms.

This is primarily a video-editing role with supporting graphic-design responsibilities. The ideal candidate can turn raw footage, scripts and straightforward ideas into content that captures attention and communicates clearly.

Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing

- Edit short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit long-form videos, interviews, corporate videos and promotional content.
- Create solid openings, engaging pacing and clear visual storytelling.
- Add captions, motion graphics, titles, transitions and visual effects.
- Perform colour correction and basic colour grading.
- Edit and mix dialogue, music and sound effects.
- Adapt videos into 9:16, 16:9, 4:5 and 1:1 formats.
- Find appropriate stock footage, music, sound effects and supporting visuals.
- Organise raw footage, project files and exported versions properly.

Graphic Design
- Design social media posts and campaign creatives.
- Create video thumbnails, Reel covers and YouTube thumbnails.
- Design infographics that make data or technical information easy to understand.
- Create carousels, announcements, promotional posters and digital advertisements.
- Prepare simple charts, diagrams and branded visual explainers.
- Resize and adapt designs for different digital platforms.
- Maintain consistent typography, colours and brand identity.
- Create supporting graphics for presentations, websites and marketing materials when required.

Social Media Content
- Understand hooks, viewer retention and platform-specific content styles.
- Follow current social media formats,



editing styles and visual trends.
- Help turn serious or technical topics into interesting content.
- Suggest visual treatments, references and creative approaches.
- Review content performance and apply learnings to future work.
- Manage multiple projects and meet agreed deadlines.

Requirements
- At least one year of relevant professional experience.
- A strong portfolio or showreel is required.
- Good working knowledge of:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- DaVinci Resolve
- Adobe Audition or similar audio software
- Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Ability to design clean social posts, posters, thumbnails and infographics.
- Good understanding of typography, composition, colour and visual hierarchy.
- Strong understanding of video pacing, hooks, storytelling and retention.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines while contributing creative ideas.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable computer, stable internet connection and suitable remote setup.
- Good written and spoken English.

- Knowledge of tracking, masking, rotoscoping, chroma keying and screen replacement.
