Role Description This is a full-time, in office Junior Test Engineer role based in Delhi, India.

The Junior Test

Engineer will assist in designing, preparing, and executing test cases for various software applications under the guidance of senior team members. Daily responsibilities include performing functional testing, documenting test results, reporting defects, and collaborating closely with developers and business analysts to ensure issues are understood and resolved. The role involves using testing tools, following established QA processes, and contributing to test documentation and status reports.

Engineer is expected to learn and apply best practices in software testing while supporting the quality and reliability of client projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Test Engineering and Testing.




- Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and working with Test Cases.
- Candidates should possess skills in Functional Testing and validating business requirements.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
- Ability to document defects clearly, communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with test management or bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and any exposure to automation testing is a plus.
