Purpose of the Role The Junior Structural Engineer will support the design, analysis, and execution of structural systems for signage projects. The role involves preparing structural designs and calculations, coordinating with design, production, and project teams, and ensuring that signage structures are safe, practical, and compliant with applicable engineering standards.

Job Responsibilities

- Assist in the structural design and analysis of signage structures, including signboards, pylons, gantries, rooftop signs, and supporting steel structures.
- Prepare structural calculations, design drawings, and technical documentation.
- Perform load calculations considering dead load, wind load, and other applicable design requirements.
- Design and review steel members, connections, base plates, anchor bolts, and foundations.
- Coordinate with AutoCAD/design, production, fabrication, and project teams to ensure structural requirements are properly incorporated.
- Review shop drawings and fabrication drawings for structural accuracy.
- Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material specifications.
- Conduct site visits, measurements, and inspections when required.




- Provide technical support during fabrication and installation.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant structural codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain proper records of structural calculations, drawings, revisions, and approvals.

Knowledge & Skills
- Good understanding of structural engineering fundamentals and steel structure design.
- Knowledge of wind-load calculations and structural stability.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of structural analysis/design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to visit project sites as required.

Qualification & Experience Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.

Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with strong structural engineering knowledge may also be considered.

Preferred: Candidates with exposure to signage structures, steel structures, fabrication, or similar engineering projects.
