The Junior Safety Officer will assist in implementing and monitoring workplace health and safety procedures. The role involves conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, supporting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, and promoting a solid safety culture among employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.

- Assist in implementing HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs.

- Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe work practices.

- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.

- Assist in preparing Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.

- Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions.

- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training records,



and incident documentation.

- Monitor housekeeping, fire safety, emergency exits, first-aid facilities, and other safety requirements.

- Support emergency drills and ensure employees understand emergency procedures.

- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and workers to resolve safety issues.

- Assist with audits and inspections by internal and external authorities.

- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are followed up and closed.

- Stay updated on applicable occupational health and safety requirement.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
