About Amadora
Since 2011, Amadora has made premium artisanal ice cream in Chennai, from scratch and with no premixes. We now run company-owned and franchise stores across Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad, with a central kitchen in Velachery. We plan to add 20+ stores next year, and we need someone to help build the teams that will run them.
The Role
You will support our hiring, mainly for store and kitchen roles. You'll source and screen candidates, schedule interviews and keep every candidate updated from first call to joining day. It's a good place to learn recruitment properly at a fast-growing consumer brand.
What You'll Do
- Source candidates for store crew, store managers, kitchen and production roles through Naukri, Indeed, Apna, LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups and referrals
- Screen CVs and run first-round phone screens
- Schedule interviews and trials with store managers and the operations team
- Keep candidates informed at every stage and follow up so no one drops off
- Organise walk-in drives, campus visits and local hiring events
- Collect joining documents and run background and reference checks
- Keep the hiring tracker and ATS accurate every day
- Post jobs and refresh listings across portals and social media
What We're Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in recruitment, HR or a customer-facing role (freshers with an MBA/BBA in HR are welcome)
- Comfortable speaking with people all day, in English and Tamil (Kannada or Telugu is a plus)
- Organised, quick to follow up and able to keep many candidates moving at once
- Basic skills in Excel or Google Sheets
- Interest in food, retail or hospitality is a plus
- Willing to travel within Chennai and occasionally to Bangalore and Hyderabad
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
- Independently handles sourcing and screening for 10–15 open store roles at a time
- Screens and shortlists candidates within 48 hours of each role opening
- Keeps the hiring tracker 100% up to date so any role's status is visible at a glance
- Runs at least one walk-in or campus drive a month for frontline roles
- Keeps candidate drop-off between offer and joining low through regular follow-ups
- Is ready to take on full-cycle hiring for store manager roles
