Role Description

Job Title

Junior Merchandiser – Woven

Evolv Clothing is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Merchandiser with 1–3 years of experience in woven garments. The ideal candidate will support the merchandising team in product development, order execution, buyer coordination, and production follow-up while ensuring timelines, quality, and buyer requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & Order Management

- Support the merchandising process from product development and order confirmation through production and shipment.
- Coordinate with sourcing, production, quality, and logistics teams for smooth order execution.
- Prepare order confirmations with buyers.
- Follow up with factories, vendors, and mills to ensure production timelines are met.
- Monitor T&A; (Time & Action) calendar, approvals, and shipment schedules.
- Ensure all products meet buyer specifications, quality standards,



and compliance requirements.

Product Development

- Manage end-to-end product development for woven garments from sampling to bulk production.
- Coordinate with design, sampling, sourcing, and production teams to meet development timelines.
- Communicate with buyers regarding sample approvals, revisions, and development updates.
- Ensure fabrics, trims, and accessories meet buyer specifications and quality expectations.
- Maintain tech packs, sample tracking, and development documentation.

Buyer Coordination

- Support buyer communication by sharing development updates, sample status, approvals, and order information under the guidance of the Merchandiser/Manager.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with existing clients.
- Provide regular updates on production status, approvals, and shipment schedules.
- Support product presentations, sample submissions, and seasonal developments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 1–3 years in apparel export merchandising.
- Solid expertise in woven garment development and order execution.
- Assist in garment costing, consumption calculations, and price comparisons as required.
- Experience working with international buyers or export houses.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and production processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience handling European or US buyers.
- Knowledge of fabric sourcing, washing techniques, and finishing processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced apparel manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to ERP systems, T&A; management, and order tracking tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in:

- Fashion Technology
- Textile Engineering
- Apparel Merchandising
- Or any related field.
