Role: Junior Manager - Procurement
Experience: 5 to 8 years
Roles & Responsibility:
- Manage sourcing and procurement of castings and engineering components.
- Identify and develop recent suppliers and manage existing vendors.
- Handle RFQs, costing, negotiations, and supplier finalization.
- Drive cost reduction, alternate supplier development, and localization.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, cost, and delivery.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong experience in castings and foundry supplier development.
- Experience in Metal, Steel, Foundry, Heavy Engineering, or Manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of casting processes, costing, and vendor development.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- SAP/ERP experience preferred.
