Weekly Off: 2nd & 4th Saturday + Sunday

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Morpheus Consulting is hiring a Junior Interior Designer for our client in Mumbai. We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented and technically skilled qualified who can support interior design projects from concept development through site execution and completion.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in space planning, interior design, technical drawings, 3D visualization, material selection, BOQ preparation and site coordination, along with a strong portfolio demonstrating both creative and technical capabilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Conceptualization

- Understand client requirements and project objectives for residential and commercial interior projects.
- Develop design concepts, layouts, mood boards and presentations.
- Assist with sketches, space planning and design development.
- Create designs aligned with the project's aesthetic and functional requirements.

Design Development & Documentation
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, RCPs and design documentation.
- Work on AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator and other relevant design software.
- Assist in preparing BOQs and material specifications.
- Make design revisions based on client and senior designer feedback.

Client & Team Coordination
- Coordinate with senior designers and internal project teams.
- Assist during client meetings and design presentations.




- Understand client feedback and incorporate changes into design proposals.
- Coordinate with execution teams to ensure smooth project progress.

Material & Vendor Coordination
- Research and source materials, finishes, furniture and accessories.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, samples and product selections.
- Maintain material references and design resources.
- Assist in evaluating materials based on design, quality and project requirements.

Site Coordination & Execution
- Visit project sites for measurements, inspections and execution follow-ups.
- Coordinate with site/execution teams.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and design intent.
- Identify and communicate site-related design issues to the senior design team.

Project Completion
- Assist in reviewing completed work against approved designs.
- Maintain project drawings, documents and presentation material.
- Support project handover and closure activities.

Mandatory Requirements
- 2–4 years of relevant interior design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.




- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical interior design work.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or 3D design software.
- Good understanding of space planning and interior detailing.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and material specifications.
- Understanding of site execution and project coordination.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Creative, imaginative and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in residential interiors, commercial interiors, interior architecture, design studios, turnkey interior projects or site execution will be preferred.

A strong portfolio is mandatory and will be an important part of the selection process.
