We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer with 1-2 years of experience who is eager to learn, work on live interior projects and support the design team across drawings, presentations, material selection and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings, furniture details, elevations and basic working drawings.
- Create and update SketchUp models as per approved concepts.
- Assist in space planning, design development and client presentations.
- Support senior designers in preparing execution-ready drawings.
- Take site measurements and update drawings accordingly.
- Assist with material, finish, hardware, furniture and lighting selections.
- Coordinate with the design team for revisions and project documentation.
- Attend site visits when required and understand execution processes.
- Support coordination with contractors and vendors under senior guidance.
- Maintain drawing files, revisions and project records.
- Assist in preparing mood boards, presentations and design references.
Required Skills: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Interior Designing, Working Drawings, Detail Drawings, Space Planning, Presentation Preparation, Site Measurements, Material Selection and basic Site Coordination.
Candidate Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in interior design.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio and good software skills can also apply.
- Positive command of AutoCAD is important.
- Basic to good knowledge of SketchUp.
- Understanding of interior materials, space planning and working drawings.
- Willingness to learn and attend site visits.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Portfolio of academic or professional interior design work is preferred.
