About the role

We convert customers' 2D furniture drawings into production-ready files that run directly on CNC machines. You will learn to model modular furniture in imos iX and produce the complete file set a factory needs to cut, edge, drill and assemble — wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, TV units and storage.

Full training is provided. What we need from you is accuracy, attention to detail, and the discipline to check your work before it leaves your desk.

What you will do

- Read and interpret customer 2D drawings and site dimensions
- Model cabinets and furniture in 3D using imos iX
- Prepare production drawings: elevations, sections and cabinet shop drawings
- Generate CNC programs for the customer's machine controller
- Produce cutting lists, hardware BOMs and edgeband schedules




- Deliver each order within the agreed 15-day turnaround
- Record every error you find or fix in the error log — what went wrong, against which part of the brief, and how long the fix took
- Submit all files for internal validation before release; nothing goes to a customer's machine without sign-off
- Log your daily hours by project and stage

What we are looking for

Essential

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, Interior Design, Furniture Design or a related field
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or any 2D/3D CAD tool
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand dimensions, sections and tolerances
- Basic computer skills: Excel, file management, email
- Careful, methodical working style

Good to have

- Exposure to imos iX, SketchUp, SolidWorks or similar
- Understanding of panel furniture: carcasses, edge banding, hinges, drawer systems
- Internship or project work in furniture manufacturing or interiors
- Familiarity with CNC machining or panel saws
