Purpose of the Role The Junior Estimator will support the estimation team in preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for signage projects. The role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, calculating material requirements, obtaining supplier prices, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure competitive and accurate project costing.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations for signage projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and client requirements.
- Calculate material quantities, labour requirements, and other project costs.
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and vendors.
- Assist in preparing BOQs and cost breakdowns.
- Coordinate with Sales, Design, Production, Procurement, and Project teams for estimation requirements.
- Maintain updated records of material prices and supplier quotations.
- Ensure estimates are prepared accurately and submitted within deadlines.
- Assist senior estimators with tender and project costing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of quotations and estimation records.
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic knowledge of estimation and costing principles.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and drawing interpretation will be an advantage.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple requirements.
- Willingness to learn signage materials, fabrication methods, and installation processes.
Qualification Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical field.

- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with exposure to the signage, fabrication, construction, fit-out, or related industry will have an added advantage.
- Should be a quick learner with a positive attitude and willingness to develop a career in signage estimation.
