Junior Engineer — KRAs

1. Ground Execution

- Daily/weekly installation targets met per assigned team of installers
- Ensure timely hiring / onboarding of vendor / Installer as per the required planning as and when needed
- Installer team productivity and attendance monitoring

2. Mapping Accuracy (Field Level)

- Real-time, accurate capture of installation data — consumer ID, meter serial number, GPS location, DTR/feeder mapping at point of installation
- Zero-error data entry into the mobile app/field tool used for mapping
- Immediate flagging and correction of mismatches (wrong premises, incorrect load details, etc.)

3. Inventory Handling

- Daily reconciliation of meters issued vs. installed vs. returned (especially faulty/unused units)
- Proper documentation of meter serial numbers against consumer records before installation
- Safekeeping and secure storage of meters/accessories at the site/local point
- Reporting damaged, tampered,



or short-received stock immediately

4. Quality Control

- In office quality check of each installation (proper connection, sealing, load testing, communication module functioning)
- Ensuring installer team follows SOP and safety protocols
- Minimizing rework due to installation defects

5. Consumer Interaction

- Consumer verification and acknowledgment (signature/OTP/photo proof) at time of installation
- Basic consumer education on the smart meter (do's/don'ts)
- On-spot resolution of minor consumer queries/objections

6. Reporting

- Daily progress and issue reporting to Divisional Head
- Photographic/geo-tagged evidence upload for each installation
- Flagging access issues (locked premises, refusal, technical constraints) for follow-up
