Job Summary

Experienced Toolmaker with hands-on expertise in press tool assembly, tool setting, debugging, maintenance, and production support.

Main Responsibility

- Assemble press tools and die sets as per drawings.
- Perform tool setting, alignment and trials.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues during development and production.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Maintain inspection and production records.
- Support tool modification and improvement activities.
- Ensure quality, safety and 5S compliance.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality and Design teams.

Mandatory Skills

- Tool Assembly & Tool Build Activities.
- Die Set Assembly & Dowelling.
- Press Tool Setting and Try-Out.
- Engineering Drawing Reading & GD&T; Interpretation.
- Tool Debugging & Troubleshooting.
- Press Tool Maintenance.
- Production and Inspection Documentation.
- Tool Modification & Improvement Activities.
- 5S and Safety Practices.

Preferred Candidate

- Profile 4 to 8 years of Tool Room/Press Tool experience with solid drawing reading, GD&T; troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Mandatory Screening Criteria Candidates must have hands-on experience in Tool Assembly, Tool Setting, Engineering Drawing Reading & GD&T;, and Tool Debugging & Troubleshooting.
