Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and 0–1 year of practical experience in electrical panel assembly, wiring and testing.

The candidate should have a basic understanding of electrical components and hands-on exposure to panel wiring, cable termination, busbar fabrication and testing. The role will involve assisting in the manufacturing, assembly, wiring and testing of electrical panels and industrial electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Panel Wiring & Assembly

- Carry out electrical panel wiring as per circuit diagrams and wiring schedules.
- Understand and follow electrical schematics, GA drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Mount and connect electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, terminals, meters and other control components.

2. Cable Crimping & Termination

- Cut and prepare cables according to required lengths.
- Perform cable stripping and crimping using appropriate tools.
- Select and install suitable cable lugs, ferrules and glands.

3. Busbar Fabrication

- Carry out busbar cutting, punching and bending as per drawings and dimensions.
- Perform busbar drilling/punching accurately.
- Carry out busbar tinning wherever required.

4. MCB / MCCB Termination

- Terminate incoming and outgoing cables on MCBs and MCCBs.
- Understand basic ratings and selection of MCBs/MCCBs.

5. Testing & Inspection

- Assist in testing electrical panels and equipment after assembly.
- Perform basic continuity, insulation resistance and functional testing using appropriate test instruments.

6. Production & Quality

- Follow production drawings, BOMs, work instructions and quality procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working practices.
- Coordinate with design, production and quality teams to resolve assembly issues.





Required Technical Skills The candidate should have basic practical knowledge of:

- Electrical panel wiring
- Reading electrical wiring diagrams
- MCB and MCCB termination
- Cable stripping and crimping
- Selection and use of cable lugs and ferrules
- Busbar cutting
- Busbar punching/drilling
- Busbar bending
- Busbar tinning
- Electrical component identification
- Continuity testing
- Insulation resistance testing
- Basic electrical safety

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience in electrical panel manufacturing
- Exposure to industrial battery chargers, LV panels, DCDBs or control panels
- Knowledge of electrical control circuits
- Familiarity with multimeter and insulation resistance tester (Megger)
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
- Good practical/technical aptitude
- Willingness to learn and work on the shop floor

Candidate Profile

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Fresher to 1 year of experience in electrical panel manufacturing, electrical assembly or a similar industrial environment.
- Should be comfortable with hands-on electrical work.
- Should have good understanding of basic electrical concepts.
- Should be disciplined, safety-conscious and willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Salary Salary: To be discussed based on qualification, practical skills and experience.

Preferred candidates: Diploma Electrical Engineers with hands-on exposure to panel wiring, electrical assembly and testing.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
