We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience and a strong foundation in Python, SQL, data structures, and programming concepts. The ideal candidate should have actively contributed to coding projects and have a good understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data-related applications and solutions using Python.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data processing and analysis.
- Apply data structures and algorithms to solve programming and data-related problems.
- Contribute to development, debugging, testing, and implementation activities.
- Gain exposure to and work with AI and Generative AI concepts and applications.
Required Skills
- Python:
Good understanding of Python and ability to independently write simple programs without assistance.
- SQL: Very good SQL skills with understanding of:
- Joins
- Triggers
- Stored Procedures
- Top-N analysis
- Data Structures & Algorithms: Very good understanding of common data structures and ability to write algorithms for typical data structure implementations.
- Project Experience: Robust understanding of final-year and other projects undertaken, with hands-on coding experience.
- AI & GenAI: Good understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts.
