Role Description The Junior Business Analyst role at Taxcart is a full-time remote position. This role involves gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing existing business processes, and supporting the design of improvements for Taxcart’s products and internal workflows.

The Junior Business

Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across product, engineering, and operations to clarify needs, translate them into explicit specifications, and assist in testing solutions. Day-to-day activities include data analysis, preparing reports, participating in discovery meetings,



and helping maintain accurate documentation for projects and enhancements.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Foundational Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to document needs and translate them into clear specifications.
- Understanding of Business Process analysis and improvement to support effective workflows.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex information clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Excel or similar tools for data analysis; exposure to BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Interest in tax technology, fintech, or compliance solutions; prior internship or project experience in these areas is beneficial.
