- Operate and monitor spring-making machines as per production requirements.
- Set and adjust machine parameters for different spring sizes and specifications.
- Ensure springs are produced as per quality standards and specifications.
- Check the dimensions, shape, tension, and overall quality of springs during production.
- Carry out basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
- Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns or abnormalities to the supervisor/maintenance team.
- Maintain proper production records and update shift-wise output.
- Ensure proper feeding of raw materials and avoid material wastage.
- Follow safety procedures and use required PPE while operating the machine.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the machine and work area.
- Support preventive maintenance activities as required.
- Achieve daily production and quality targets.
- Follow instructions from the Production Supervisor/Section In-charge.
Required Skills
- 23 years of experience in operating spring-making or similar manufacturing machines.
- Basic knowledge of machine setting and operation.
- Ability to read and understand basic production/quality specifications.
- Good understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets.
- Positive discipline and team-working ability.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma / 10th or equivalent , preferably with relevant manufacturing experience.
