Role Description

Junior Architect

Location: Thane, Maharashtra (Candidates residing in Thane or nearby central line locations preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Junior Architect with 4 years of experience to join our growing design team in Thane. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative design and technical execution.

You will handle projects from initial concept design through to site execution, including creating Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, managing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and producing high-end 3D visualizations.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio spanning both architectural and interior design projects, with sharp technical skills and hands-on site experience.

Key Responsibilities

Concept & Interior Design:

Develop innovative design concepts, space plans, and interior layouts for residential, commercial, or retail projects based on client briefs.





Technical Documentation

Prepare comprehensive Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, detailed working drawings, section details, and service layouts.

Estimation & Costing:

Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material specifications, and cost estimations for architectural and interior works.

3D Visualization & Rendering:

Create high-quality, realistic 3D models and renders using D5 Render, Lumion, SketchUp, or similar software to effectively communicate design intent to clients.

Site Supervision

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve on-site technical queries, coordinate with contractors/vendors, and ensure execution matches approved drawings.

Client & Vendor Coordination:

Coordinate with structural consultants, MEP engineers, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution. COA registration is a plus.

Experience

Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience handling both design and execution.

Software Proficiency

Advanced skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp.Expertise in rendering software, specifically D5 Render and Lumion.

Proficiency in Photoshop and MS Office (Excel for BOQs) is highly desirable.

Technical Knowledge

Solid understanding of construction materials, interior finishes, joinery details, and local building codes.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication skills, solid problem-solving abilities on-site, and a collaborative team attitude.
