Role Description The Junior Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Bangalore Urban district. In this role, the team member supports the design and detailing of residential smart homes, preparing drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials under the guidance of senior architects. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with engineering and project management teams, assisting in design development, coordinating design changes, and ensuring documentation aligns with project requirements and local regulations.

Architect helps integrate smart automation considerations into architectural plans, participates in site-related coordination, and contributes to quality checks on design deliverables. This role involves close teamwork, effective communication, and a proactive approach to learning within a fast-growing, technology-enabled construction environment.

Qualifications

- Foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to contribute to residential layouts, elevations, and detailing.
- Exposure to Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to smart home systems and coordination with technology teams.
- Basic Project Management abilities, including organizing tasks, tracking design milestones, and supporting cross-functional coordination.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and comfort working with digital collaboration platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent professional qualification, with eligibility to work in India.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to follow structured design processes.
- Willingness to learn smart home technologies, construction best practices, and local building codes, and to collaborate in a multi-city project setting.
- Ability to work on-site in the Bangalore Urban district and coordinate effectively with both office and field teams.
