Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities in an automobile business. The role involves maintaining financial records, handling vehicle and spare-parts transactions, managing receivables and payables, bank reconciliation, GST compliance, and supporting monthly financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally / ERP / accounting software.
- Record sales and purchase invoices for vehicles, spare parts, accessories, and services.
- Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Perform daily/weekly bank and cash reconciliations.
- Verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, credit notes, and debit notes.
- Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Reconcile inventory-related accounting records with physical/ERP stock records.
- Track vehicle purchases, sales, discounts, finance receipts, and related expenses.
- Handle accounting for service centre/workshop operations, including labour charges, parts, and service invoices.
- Prepare monthly reports such as sales, purchases, outstanding receivables/payables, expenses, and cash flow.




- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
- Support management with financial data and other accounting-related reports.

Required Skills
- Positive knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Experience with Tally Prime, SAP, ERP, or similar accounting software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualification
- B.Com
- Previous experience in an automobile dealership, service centre, spare-parts business, or automotive company is an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
