JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT :

nJob Overview :

nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards, and support business decision-making through accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with accounting systems, tax compliance, and payroll processing for U.S.-based entities.

nKey Responsibilities:

n

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
n
- Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
n
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
n
- Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
n
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with U.S. regulations using tools like ADP
n
- Manage tax-related activities including preparation/support for filings with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
n
- Prepare and file forms such as W-2, 1099, and assist with 941/940 filings
n
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure audit readiness
n
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
n
- Generate MIS reports and provide insights to management
n
- Must know Tally
n

nRequired Skills &

Qualifications :

n

n
- Experience : 1-2 years
n
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA Inter preferred)
n
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and U.S. accounting practices
n
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
n
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
n




- Experience in payroll processing and U.S. tax compliance
n
- Strong knowledge of AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting
n
- High attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- Good communication skills for working with U.S.-based clients/teams
n
