About the role

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Junior Accountant who can maintain accurate day-to-day accounts and also handle practical office situations with ownership and sound common sense. The right candidate will be comfortable with numbers, documents,

follow-ups and coordination with site teams, vendors and senior accounts staff.

Key responsibilities

- Record daily purchase, sales, receipt, payment, contra and journal entries in Tally Prime.

- Maintain cash book, bank book, ledgers, vouchers, bills and supporting documents in an organized manner.

- Check and record site expenses, petty cash, advances, reimbursements and expense settlements.

- Perform bank, cash and party ledger reconciliations; identify mismatches and follow up until closure.

- Prepare Excel expense summaries, payment lists, outstanding reports and other basic statements.

- Verify invoices for GST details, quantity, rate, approval and supporting documents before processing.

- Support GST, TDS, payroll, ESI/PF and audit data preparation under the senior accountant's guidance.

- Coordinate with sites and vendors, maintain proper files,



meet timelines and promptly report discrepancies.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Com, M.Com or equivalent commerce / accounting qualification with 1-3 years of hands-on experience.

- Construction, infrastructure or contractor experience is preferred but not mandatory.

- Working knowledge of Tally Prime and Excel is essential; clear Hindi and basic written English are desirable.

- Candidate should be stable, trustworthy and interested in long-term association with the company.
