About the Job

Role Description The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and preparation of basic financial statements for client entities. This role involves assisting with GST, TDS, and Income Tax return filings, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finalisation of accounts under guidance.

The Junior

Accountant will work closely with senior accountants and consulting teams to gather and organise accurate financial data, assist in statutory and tax audits, and help ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns
- Help with account reconciliations and basic finalisation of accounts under supervision
- Provide support during statutory and tax audits
- Maintain ledgers and assist in preparing financial statements




- Coordinate with senior accountants and consulting teams to compile accurate financial data for client projects
- Maintain proper documentation and records to support compliance and audit requirements
- Learn and apply accounting standards and regulatory requirements under mentorship

Qualifications

- B.Com / CA Inter (pursuing) or equivalent
- 6 months 2 years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Basic working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions
- Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar) and MS Excel
- Valuable analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and manage multiple client accounts under guidance
- Prior internship or work experience in a consulting or accounting firm environment preferred
