Role Description The Jr Video Editor role at Apnaaapan is a full-time, in office position based in Jaipur. This role involves editing raw video footage into polished content suitable for social media, advertising campaigns, and other digital channels.

The Jr Video

Editor will collaborate with marketing and creative team members to understand project requirements, follow brand guidelines, and ensure consistency across visual materials. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and managing media files, applying transitions and effects, adding basic motion graphics and text overlays, syncing audio, and exporting final deliverables in required formats. The role may also include assisting in brainstorming content ideas,



implementing feedback from senior team members, and maintaining an efficient workflow to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

- Ability to use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools) and basic knowledge of motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Understanding of video production fundamentals, including frame rates, aspect ratios, color correction, and audio editing.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition, with attention to detail in cuts, transitions, and continuity.
- Basic familiarity with digital marketing concepts and social media platforms, including formats and best practices for short-form video content.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to accept and implement feedback from senior editors and managers.
- Organizational skills for managing multiple projects, maintaining file structures, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or degree in film, media, communication, design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior internship, project work, or a portfolio demonstrating video editing capabilities, even at an entry level, will be an advantage.
