Role Overview

Assist the reporting manager in project planning, quantity calculations, estimation, and progress monitoring for civil construction, heritage restoration and finishing works. The role requires accurate documentation, coordination with site teams and timely preparation of reports for review.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and updating work schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel.

Collect site progress data and prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.

Prepare look-ahead plans and track manpower, materials and equipment requirements

Calculate quantities from drawings and site measurements; prepare detailed measurement sheets.

Prepare draft BOQs, preliminary estimates, detailed estimates and rate analyses.





Refer to applicable CPWD DSR, State PWD SOR/SSR and project specifications

Maintain updated drawings, BOQs, schedules, measurement sheets and correspondence.

Coordinate with site, procurement and project teams to obtain required inputs.

Required Skills

Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and charts.

Ability to read civil drawings and extract quantities using AutoCAD and drawing PDFs.

Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 /MS Project.

Understanding of construction activities, units of measurement, BOQ preparation and rate analysis.

Accuracy in calculations, organised documentation and explicit communication.

Willingness to visit project sites and learn under the reporting manager’s guidance.
