Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Jr. Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in 3D CAD modelling, engineering design conversion, and manufacturing documentation. The candidate will interpret technical specifications and transform functional requirements into optimised, production-ready engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret technical specifications and convert functional requirements into optimized, production-ready designs.
- Develop high-quality 3D CAD models for parts, sub-assemblies, and system-level assemblies.
- Apply top-down and bottom-up modelling techniques for complex mechanical systems.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T;, material specifications, surface finishes, and heat treatment details.




- Implement DFM and DFA principles to improve manufacturability, cost efficiency, and assembly processes.
- Follow industry best practices in modelling, simulation, and technical documentation.
- Utilize parametric design, templates, and automation tools to enhance modelling efficiency.
- Ensure design quality, compliance, traceability, and documentation accuracy.

Required Skills & Competencies,

- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD tools
- Expertise in GD&T; and manufacturing drawing standards
- Knowledge of material selection, surface treatments, and heat treatment processes
- Experience in DFM & DFA methodologies
- Understanding of engineering standards and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good documentation and technical communication abilities

Minimum Service Agreement:

A 2-year service agreement will apply to candidates with less than 3 years of experience

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
