Role & responsibilities

- Assist in day-to-day fleet operations and vehicle coordination.

- Coordinate with drivers for vehicle reporting, dispatch, pickup, and delivery schedules.

- Maintain daily vehicle movement and deployment records.

- Track vehicle location and movement through GPS.

- Monitor vehicle arrival, departure, loading, unloading, and delivery status.

- Follow up with drivers regarding delays, route deviations, and vehicle issues.

- Maintain trip sheets, logbooks, fuel records, and other fleet documents.

- Coordinate with the maintenance team for vehicle servicing, repairs, and breakdowns.

- Report vehicle breakdowns and maintenance requirements to the concerned senior.

- Check availability and validity of vehicle documents such as RC, insurance, PUC, permit, and fitness certificate.

- Assist in monitoring fuel consumption and mileage of vehicles.

- Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and operational requirements.

- Follow up for pending deliveries and POD collection.

- Maintain daily pending delivery and POD status.





- Prepare daily fleet status and vehicle movement reports.

- Update Fleet/Logistics MIS and submit reports to the Manager Fleet &
- Logistics.

- Maintain proper records of vehicle-related expenses and supporting documents.

- Coordinate with Dispatch, Stores, Production, Sales, and other departments for vehicle requirements.

- Escalate delays, breakdowns, accidents, documentation issues, and other operational problems to the Manager.

- Ensure assigned responsibilities are properly handed over during absence.

- Perform other fleet and logistics duties as assigned by the Manager / Management
