Role Description This full-time Jr. Accountant role is an on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Jr. Accountant will support daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities include preparing basic financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves assisting with invoice processing, expense tracking, and documentation for audits and compliance. The Jr. Accountant will collaborate with senior finance team members, ensure accurate and timely data entry, and help improve accounting processes and controls.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles,



including knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and basic financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and comfort working with spreadsheets and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to manage numerical information reliably.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Understanding of basic tax concepts, compliance requirements, and audit support processes is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and collaborate in a team-focused setting.
