Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee the overall financial operations for all hospitals/units in the assigned region.

2. Prepare, review, and monitor annual budgets and monthly forecasts for each unit.

3. Track revenue, expenses, and profitability; ensure targets are achieved.

4. Ensure compliance with all financial policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.

5. Robust understanding of hospital billing SOPs for both cash and credit patients, coupled with expertise in recovery and settlement practices.

6. Proficient in preparation, review, and finalization of books of accounts with adherence to compliance and organizational standards.

7. Review and approve monthly MIS reports before submission to corporate finance.

8. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund requirements for smooth operations.

9. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost control.

10. Coordinate with unit heads to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.

11. Implement financial controls to prevent leakages and ensure transparency.

12. Liaise with auditors (internal & external)



and ensure timely closure of audits.

13. Guide and mentor unit finance managers and accounts teams.

14. Ensure timely vendor payments and manage receivables to maintain healthy cash cycles.

15. Review capex proposals and ensure alignment with business priorities.

16. Regularly report on regional financial performance to CFO/Corporate

Finance Team.

17. Responsible for overseeing direct and indirect taxation, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, timely filing, and optimizing tax efficiency across units.

18. Accountable for treasury and fund management, including liquidity management, cash flow planning, and coordination with banks and financial institutions for debt funding, working capital, and other financial requirements.
