Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati.

The Job

Title role involves managing day-to-day insurance operations, including policy servicing, customer support, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of requests.

Responsibilities may include assisting customers with policy inquiries and claims, maintaining records and documentation,



and using digital tools and applications such as IL TakeCare to enhance service delivery. The role also requires close collaboration with sales, underwriting, and other functional teams to support business growth, adherence to company standards, and compliance with regulatory guidelines. The position calls for a proactive, detail-oriented approach and a strong commitment to ICICI Lombard’s customer-first philosophy.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of insurance concepts and products, preferably in general insurance (motor, health, or related lines).
- Proficiency in using computers, office productivity tools, and digital applications; comfort working with cloud-based and mobile platforms.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make sound judgments in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team setting, with a collaborative and accountable work ethic.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in commerce, business, finance, or insurance is an advantage.
- Prior experience in financial services, banking, or insurance operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English and local/regional languages spoken in Guwahati will be beneficial.
