Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Jewellery Purchase Manager to manage the procurement of gold jewellery, diamond jewellery, gemstones, and other jewellery products. The candidate will be responsible for supplier management, price negotiation, product sourcing, quality evaluation, purchase planning, and ensuring timely availability of products as per business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end jewellery purchasing and procurement activities.
- Source gold jewellery, diamond jewellery, gemstones, and other jewellery products from reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with jewellery suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and vendors.
- Negotiate product prices, making charges, wastage, discounts, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor gold rates and market trends to support effective purchasing decisions.
- Identify new suppliers and evaluate them based on product quality,



pricing, reliability, and delivery performance.
- Plan purchases based on sales requirements, inventory levels, customer demand, and product trends.
- Inspect and verify jewellery quality, weight, purity, workmanship, stone quality, and certifications before accepting purchases.

Requirements

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in jewellery purchase/procurement, preferably in a jewellery showroom, retail chain, manufacturing company, or wholesale jewellery business.
- Strong knowledge of gold jewellery, diamond jewellery, gemstones, and jewellery pricing.
- Good understanding of gold purity, weight, wastage, making charges, and purchase calculations.
- Strong supplier negotiation and vendor-management skills.
- Good knowledge of jewellery market trends and supplier networks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
