Java Upgrade Test

Our team is seeking a skilled professional to assist in the upgrade of our existing Java-based applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java and relevant technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of Java upgrade projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on upgrade and migration projects.
- Strong understanding of Java syntax, frameworks, and libraries.
- Experience with Java version management and migration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues.




- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.

Technical Skills & Experience:

- Java 8 and above, with experience in version 11 and 17.
- Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Experience with containerization using Docker.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure.
- Understanding of database concepts, including MySQL and Oracle.
- Experience with testing frameworks, such as JUnit and Mockito.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with React and Angular.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and Git.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and Scrum.
- Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance regulations.
- Experience with cloud security, including IAM and cloud infrastructure security.
