Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Technical Architect to design and guide the development of scalable, secure and high-performing enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, databases and system design. The role requires someone who can make sound architectural decisions, solve complex technical problems and guide development teams through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design scalable and maintainable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Define application architecture, technical standards and integration approaches.
- Design microservices, REST APIs, database interactions and enterprise integrations.
- Evaluate technical requirements and recommend appropriate frameworks and solutions.
- Guide developers and ensure alignment with the approved architecture.
- Conduct design and code reviews and promote coding best practices.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, security and production issues.
- Work closely with business, product, QA, infrastructure and DevOps teams.
- Prepare architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
- Remain involved in implementation and troubleshooting when required.

Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Good experience in microservices architecture and REST API development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming,



design patterns and system design.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Understanding of application security, performance optimisation, scalability and reliability.
- Experience in debugging and resolving complex application and production issues.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, Git and CI/CD processes.
- Previous experience in technical architecture, solution design or technical leadership.
- Ability to guide development teams and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Kafka or other event-driven technologies.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Familiarity with Redis, MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Working knowledge of ReactJS, Angular, Next.js or similar frontend technologies.
- Experience working on large-scale financial, banking, capital-markets or other enterprise applications.

Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for a genuine Java architect who remains technically hands-on. The candidate should be capable of understanding existing systems, designing practical solutions, guiding developers and taking ownership of architecture through implementation.
