We are looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Kafka and backend development to join our engineering team.

The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable, reliable and high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot, along with practical experience working with Kafka-based event-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop scalable REST APIs and microservices
- Design and implement Kafka producers and consumers
- Work with event-driven and asynchronous processing architectures
- Develop clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Work with databases and develop effective queries
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Collaborate with frontend developers,



QA engineers and other team members
- Follow best practices for coding, security, logging and application monitoring

Required Skills
- 4+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+
- Strong experience with Spring Boot
- Good understanding of Spring Framework and REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
- Understanding of Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions and consumer groups
- Experience with Microservices architecture
- Good knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Experience with Git and standard software development practices
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
