About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 8-10 years of expertise in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka. The ideal candidate will own major workstreams within large-scale transformation and modernization programs, provide technical leadership, and act as the primary technical point of contact for clients at the module level.

What You'll Do:

- Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise application modules and strategic workstreams.
- Define coding standards, architecture guidelines, and engineering best practices for development teams.
- Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka.
- Build event-driven systems and integration solutions for large-scale distributed environments.
- Translate business requirements and client expectations into robust technical solutions.
- Own module-level client interactions and serve as the technical face of the organization.
- Lead architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and pull request reviews.
- Drive software modernization, workflow transformation, and data modernization initiatives.
- Support AI-assisted software development lifecycle practices and measure productivity improvements through AI tooling.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Ensure application scalability, performance, resiliency, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
- Drive production stability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Support CI/CD implementation, cloud deployment, DevOps automation, and release management activities.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to distributed teams.
- Conduct client demos, technical workshops, and solution presentations.




- Promote engineering excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8-10 years of experience in Java application development and enterprise software engineering.
- Strong expertise in Java, Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Extensive experience building event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, clean architecture, and software engineering principles.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Maven, Git, GitHub, and modern software development tools.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational database technologies.
- Experience with Docker, containerization, and cloud-native application deployment.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services including GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and Pub/Sub.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups, offsets, event streaming, and message-driven architectures.
- Experience with SonarQube, code quality tools, and engineering governance practices.
- Exposure to Harness or similar deployment management platforms.
- Understanding of performance optimization, system resiliency, and high-availability architectures.
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI-driven development tools such as GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted engineering workflows.




- Experience designing RAG-based and Agentic AI solutions is an added advantage.
- Understanding of MCP integrations and enterprise AI adoption strategies.
- Exposure to Camunda, Appian, Terraform, and workflow modernization initiatives is preferred.
- Familiarity with Vertex AI and contemporary AI platforms is desirable.
- Ability to lead design reviews, architecture discussions, and technical governance activities.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams and enterprise clients.
