We are looking for a skilled Java Playwright Automation Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java, Playwright, and Automation Framework Development for web application testing. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions that ensure product quality and accelerate release cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Java.
- Design and enhance scalable test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Create robust test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Identify, report, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure test coverage for web applications across multiple browsers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Continuously improve test processes, framework efficiency, and automation coverage.
Required Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Framework.
- Experience in designing and maintaining Automation Frameworks.
- Strong understanding of OOPs concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Maven, and Selenium concepts.
- Knowledge of API testing using REST Assured or Postman.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Valuable debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience in API Automation testing.
- Basic understanding of Docker and cloud environments.
- Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
