Senior engineer to handle the more complex, code-intensive remediation flagged by SVA (static), DVA (energetic), SCA, and container scans across the Java portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Remediate static (SVA) and dynamic (DVA) findings require actual code changes - insecure patterns, broken auth, injection risks, etc.
- Build automated upgrade/refactor scripts for dependency (SCA) and container-based image vulnerabilities
- Fix CloudFormation issues flagged by Wiz IaC Scan
- Build regression-testing harnesses to validate that fixes don t break functionality
- Partner with the Automation Engineer to productionize fixes into pipelines
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years in Java/Spring Boot and Microservices, SQL and AWS
- AWS experience (CloudFormation, containers)
- Experience with SAST/DAST-style remediation (SVA/DVA) and dependency upgrades
- Strong CI/CD and automated testing background
- Scripting/automation experience (Python, Bash) for cross-tool remediation workflows
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar) to accelerate code fixes, dependency upgrades, and automation scripting
